The shortest international hop out of London

London to Paris is 215 miles, about an hour in the air in any cabin. The train takes a little over two hours between the two city centres; the jet wins when you start outside central London, travel as a group, or want to be back the same evening without watching the clock.

London City is fifteen minutes from the Square Mile and takes the light and midsize jets that suit an hour's flight. Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton serve the rest of the capital and the larger cabins. On the French side, Le Bourget handles almost every private arrival, with border control inside the terminal.

Most clients fly it as a day return: out in the morning, the aircraft waits at Le Bourget, back the same evening. We book the car at both ends with the aircraft.

Farnborough for the west, Luton for the north and late departures, Biggin Hill for the City, Stansted for the largest cabins.

What the flight costs

Prices below are indicative one-way figures for the whole aircraft, not per seat. They cover the flight, crew and fuel; Le Bourget's handling and any overnight parking are quoted separately.

A same-day return with the aircraft waiting in Paris is usually priced well below two one-way flights. Fashion Week and Roland-Garros fill Le Bourget's parking, so on those dates we confirm the slot with the price.

Aircraft that suit an hour's flight

For an hour in the air, a light or midsize jet is the sensible choice, and both can use London City. Move up to a super-midsize or heavy cabin for a larger party, a lot of luggage, or a meeting on board.

  6. December to January Christmas and New Year Inbound for the holidays and outbound to the Alps in the same fortnight.

Paris to London

The return leaves from Le Bourget and lands at whichever London airport suits your evening. London City closes at night and on Saturday afternoons, and Farnborough at 10 pm, so a late return goes into Luton or Biggin Hill.

UK Border Force clears you inside the private terminal on arrival. For a day return, the aircraft and crew wait at Le Bourget and leave when you are ready.
