Helicopter transfers

The jet lands; the helicopter takes you the last few miles, to the heliport, the racecourse, the chalet or the yacht. We book both in one conversation and time the helicopter to your landing. Bank transfer in any major currency; crypto also accepted.

Helicopter or jet?Speed, seats and hourly rates side by side.

The last leg after the jet.

Most private airports sit some way from where you are going. A helicopter turns a forty-minute drive into a few minutes in the air, and it can wait on the ramp beside the jet. These are the transfers we arrange most often.

Biggin Hill to central London

Six minutes from the private terminal at Biggin Hill to The London Heliport at Battersea, with a car waiting on the Thames.

Private jet to London

Nice to Monaco

Seven minutes from the private terminal at Nice Côte d'Azur to the Monaco heliport at Fontvieille, against forty minutes or more by road.

Private jet to Nice and Monaco

Geneva to the Alps

Twenty to thirty minutes from the ramp at Geneva to Courchevel or Verbier, when the largest cabins cannot use the mountain airfields.

Race days in England

Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, the Derby, Silverstone and Goodwood each run a heliport on the day, with slots sold in advance.

Helicopter or private jet?

Under about two hundred miles, or when the last few miles are the slow part, the helicopter wins: it lands closer and leaves sooner. Further than that, or with more passengers and luggage, a jet is faster and usually cheaper for the trip. Many journeys use both.

Frequently asked questions

What is a helicopter transfer?

A short helicopter flight that links a private jet, or a car, to the final address: from Biggin Hill to central London, from Nice to Monaco, from Geneva to a ski resort. The helicopter meets the jet on the ramp where the airport allows it, and a car meets the helicopter at the far end.

How long is the helicopter from Biggin Hill to central London?

Six minutes from Biggin Hill to The London Heliport at Battersea. By road the same journey takes most of an hour.

How long is the helicopter from Nice to Monaco?

About seven minutes from the private terminal at Nice Côte d'Azur to the Monaco heliport at Fontvieille. Monaco has no airport, so the helicopter is the fastest way in from a jet.

Is a helicopter cheaper than a private jet?

By the hour they are close: about £2,800 to £4,500 for a twin-engine helicopter against about $3,500 to $5,500 for a light jet, indicatively. The jet flies three times as fast, so over longer distances it is the cheaper trip; under about two hundred miles, or for the last leg, the helicopter usually costs less in time and often in money.

Can you arrange a helicopter outside the UK?

Yes. We book helicopters through local operators wherever the jet lands, most often on the Riviera, in the Alps and between London and Paris, and confirm the landing sites before the price is final.

Can I pay in crypto?

Bank transfer in any major currency; crypto also accepted. Tell us your preferred coin and we confirm the network and the payment instructions with the contract.
