Opa-locka to the Strip by late afternoon

Miami to Las Vegas is 2,170 miles. A super-midsize jet flies it non-stop in about five hours. Heavy and ultra-long-range cabins are slightly faster and quieter; a midsize jet refuels in Texas and lands about an hour later for a lower price.

The three-hour time difference favours an afternoon departure. Leave Opa-locka after lunch and land at Harry Reid by early evening. Private terminals on the west side bypass the commercial concourses, with the Strip ten to fifteen minutes away. On fight and Grand Prix weekends, Henderson is the quieter arrival.

Both cities host many aircraft. A same-day departure is usually possible, and a round trip typically costs less than two one-way flights.

Aircraft that fly it non-stop

A super-midsize cabin works well for five hours: a stand-up cabin, a full galley and the range for non-stop flight. The Legacy 650 in our fleet adds a separate rear cabin; the Gulfstream G650 is faster and less noisy than the others. Midsize jets refuel once for a lower price.

When Las Vegas fills up

On these dates aircraft, slots and hotel suites all go early. Booking a week or two ahead is the difference between a choice of aircraft and whatever is left.

  1. January CES The largest convention of the year. Harry Reid slots and FBO parking go first; Henderson is the pressure valve.
  2. May EDC Las Vegas Late-night traffic around the Speedway. Plan a Henderson or North Las Vegas arrival.
  3. November Las Vegas Grand Prix Strip road closures make airport choice and ground transport the whole game. We arrange both together.
  4. December National Finals Rodeo Ten days of near-capacity hotels and steady private traffic.
  5. Fight weekends Championship boxing and UFC Announced a few weeks out and instantly busy. Light jets are the quickest to secure.
  6. New Year's Eve The Strip fireworks Book the return before the outbound; the morning of 1 January is the tightest departure window of the year.

Las Vegas to Miami

The return leaves from Harry Reid, Henderson or North Las Vegas and lands at Opa-locka, Miami International or Fort Lauderdale. Eastbound the jet stream helps: allow about four and a half hours non-stop. The evening departure from Las Vegas lands in Miami after midnight, so many clients take the morning flight instead.

On fight weekends, during the Grand Prix and CES, Las Vegas departure slots are scarce. During Art Basel, Opa-locka is fully booked. We secure the return when we book the outbound.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private jet from Miami to Las Vegas cost?

Indicative one-way prices for the whole aircraft start at about $26,000 in a midsize jet; about $34,000 in a super-midsize jet; about $44,000 in a heavy jet; about $56,000 in a ultra-long-range jet. Repositioning, overnight parking and handling are quoted separately once we know your dates, and a return with the aircraft waiting is usually priced well below two one-way flights.

How long is the flight?

About 5 hours from boarding to landing for the cabins shown on this page, depending on the aircraft, the winds and the airports at each end. Every cabin class listed flies it without a stop.

Which airports can I use?

From Miami: Miami-Opa locka Executive, Miami International and Fort Lauderdale. Into Las Vegas: Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas. Each is described above with its drive time and the operators that handle private flights there.

How do immigration and customs work on arrival?

Domestic arrivals walk straight from the aircraft to the car. International arrivals clear US Customs and Border Protection at Harry Reid's private terminal.

Can my dog travel with me?

Pets travel in the cabin with you. On a domestic flight no paperwork beyond standard identification is needed; tell us when you book so we match an operator that welcomes animals.

Can I pay for the charter with crypto?

Yes. Bank transfer in any major currency; crypto also accepted. Tell us your preferred coin and we confirm the network and payment instructions with the contract.

Do you arrange the car at each end?

Yes. We coordinate chauffeured cars on both ends, so a car meets you at the aircraft in Las Vegas and the driver knows the airport's private terminal.

Where would you like to fly?

Tell us what you have in mind. Our team will take care of the charter arrangements and discuss crypto payment if you prefer.
