Ultra-long-range jet · Gulfstream
The G650 is Gulfstream's long-range benchmark, chosen for a cabin wide and quiet enough to sleep in on a twelve-hour leg and a fleet large enough to find one at short notice.
Four to ten people on legs of seven to thirteen hours: a family crossing the Atlantic for the season, or a principal and staff doing London to Dubai and back within the week. Three or four zones let one group dine while another sleeps aft.
Pick the Global 7500 for a genuine fourth room and a little more range, the G700 for Gulfstream's newer, longer cabin, or the narrower, three-engined Falcon 8X when price matters more. The G650's edge is numbers. About 600 were built, so one is likelier to be free near London, New York or Dubai at short notice.
Short, hot or high runways, where the take-off run grows quickly, more so in the ER. Large groups, since 19 seats are certified but a night flight is comfortable for eight to ten. Two-hour hops, where a heavy jet costs less. Production ended in 2025, so every G650 is used, the oldest from 2012.
Published figures for the type. Seating, beds and connectivity vary with each aircraft's layout and operator, and we confirm them for the actual aircraft before you book.

Range as published: 8 passengers and 4 crew at Mach 0.85 with NBAA IFR reserves; 7,500 nm for the G650ER on the same basis. On the day it depends on passengers and luggage, winds, the airports, temperature and the reserves the operator carries.

The floor is flat from galley to rear, and sixteen oval windows, each about 28 by 20.5 in, keep the cabin bright with the blinds half down. Most charter aircraft run from a forward club of four through a dining or conference group to an aft divan that converts to a bed.
Twelve to fourteen seats in most charter layouts; the type is certified for up to 19. Layouts differ between owners, so we send the floor plan of the actual aircraft.
Seats and divans convert to beds. Ten is the published maximum; most charter layouts sleep fewer, and the aft divan makes a bed of about 39 by 80 in.
100% fresh air, not recirculated, and a cabin altitude of about 2,800 ft at 41,000 ft, or 4,850 ft at the 51,000 ft ceiling.
Forward and aft lavatories on most aircraft, each independently vented, so the principal's end of the cabin has its own.
Many G650s carry Ka-band Wi-Fi fast enough for video calls; others have older systems suited to email and messaging. We confirm the fit on the specific aircraft.
195 cu ft in a compartment behind the cabin, reachable during the flight: enough for a family's luggage for a fortnight, less so for skis and golf bags together.
The published 7,000 nm, or 7,500 nm for the G650ER, is a still-air figure. A westbound Atlantic crossing in January meets strong headwinds, winter luggage adds weight, and a summer afternoon in Dubai cuts the payload before take-off.
In practice a standard G650 is comfortable on legs of up to about twelve hours; for New York to Dubai or Tokyo with a full cabin, ask for the ER. Published take-off distances assume sea level and standard conditions, and some smaller European and Caribbean airfields are too short for a full-fuel departure.
Trips this aircraft flies well, each with its own page: the airports at both ends, flight times and indicative prices by cabin.
A G650 usually prices above a Global 6500 or Falcon 7X of the same age and below a Global 7500 or G700. Positioning moves a quote most: if the nearest free G650 is in Teterboro and the trip starts in London, the empty crossing is part of the price. Season, crew overnights, handling and de-icing come next. On a one-way trip, ask whether an aircraft has a return leg planned on your route.
As a guide, ultra-long-range jets charter at about $12,000 to $16,000 an hour for the aircraft, crew and fuel. Positioning, airport charges, overnight costs and the season are added for the trip, and the quote is one figure in writing.
When the G650 is not available on your dates, or the trip asks for something slightly different, these are the aircraft we would put beside it.

Up to 19 in the densest certified layout, but most charter G650s have 12 to 14 seats across three or four zones. Fewer can sleep flat than can sit, so for a night crossing a party of eight or fewer is more comfortable. We send the floor plan of the specific aircraft with each quote.
Gulfstream publishes 7,000 nm for the G650 and 7,500 nm for the G650ER, with eight passengers, four crew and NBAA IFR reserves at Mach 0.85. That is a still-air figure: headwinds, a full cabin, heat and the reserves the operator carries all reduce it. As a working guide, a G650 covers most legs of up to about twelve hours without a stop, and the ER a little more.
The ER carries more fuel in the same airframe, which adds 500 nm of published range and some runway length at maximum weight: 6,299 ft against 5,858 ft. The cabin is identical. For London to Tokyo, New York to Dubai or anything over about twelve hours with a full cabin, ask for an ER.
Yes. Dubai to Singapore is about 3,150 nm and takes around seven hours, well inside the G650's range with every seat taken. If the nearest suitable aircraft is elsewhere in the Gulf or Asia, the positioning leg is included in the quote, so ask us to compare aircraft already in Dubai against those that need to fly in.
Most do. Many G650s carry Ka-band Wi-Fi fast enough for video calls; others have older satellite systems that handle email and messaging but struggle with streaming. The fit depends on the owner, so if connectivity matters we confirm the system on the specific aircraft before you book.
It depends on the route, where the nearest available aircraft is, the season and the days on the ground; the G650 sits within the ultra-long-range band shown above. A one-way long-range trip with an empty return costs more than a return with a short stay. Send us the route and dates and we reply with firm quotes in writing, payable by bank transfer or in crypto.
No. Gulfstream built about 600 G650s and G650ERs between 2012 and 2025 and replaced the type with the G800, which keeps the same cabin dimensions. The charter fleet is large as a result, and every aircraft in it is from 2012 or later.
The Global 7500 has about 7 ft 7 in more cabin length, enough for a fourth living area and a dedicated crew rest, and 200 nm more published range than the G650ER. The G650's cabin is slightly wider and taller, and more aircraft are available. For eight or fewer on a twelve-hour leg either works; for a larger family on a night flight, the Global gives each group its own room.
Where from, where to, the dates and how many are flying. We come back with priced G650 options and comparable aircraft, usually the same day.
