Al Maktoum is the default, the dedicated business aviation terminal at the south of the city with four handling agents, no curfew and immigration cleared in the lounge. Dubai International is closer to Downtown and DIFC at a higher fee and with tighter evening slots; Sharjah takes VIP airliners when both are full. We choose the airport around where you are staying and the aircraft around the party, then hold the slot on the dates that fill the Gulf.

Dubai's season runs from November to April, and on these dates the aircraft based in the Gulf are spoken for early. A week or two of notice keeps the choice of cabin open.
Passport details go to the handler before you land, immigration is cleared in the lounge, and the car, the villa and the table are arranged in the same conversation as the flight.
Passport control and customs are cleared inside the private terminal in a few minutes. UK, EU and US passport holders receive a visa on arrival; for other nationalities we confirm the requirement when we book.
Pets travel in the cabin. The UAE requires an import permit, microchip, vaccination record and health certificate in advance; we arrange the paperwork with the handler. Allow a week or two for the permit.
A chauffeured car meets the aircraft on the ramp at Al Maktoum International or whichever airport you land at, and the driver knows the private terminal, not the commercial one.

It depends where you leave from. Indicative one-way prices for the whole aircraft start at about $12,000 from Riyadh in a light jet, about $47,000 from London and about $46,000 from Paris in a super-midsize jet with one stop, about $160,000 from New York and about $175,000 from Miami in an ultra-long-range jet with a stop. Repositioning, overnight parking and handling are quoted separately once we know your dates.
Al Maktoum for the Palm, the Marina and anything on a busy week, thirty-five to forty-five minutes from Downtown with no curfew. Dubai International for Downtown, DIFC and Jumeirah, fifteen to twenty-five minutes away, at a higher fee and with tighter slots. Sharjah for VIP airliners and the northern emirates. From Riyadh, Doha or anywhere in the Gulf, usually yes: a light jet based at Al Maktoum can often depart within a few hours. From London, Paris or New York, twenty-four hours is the realistic minimum because of crew duty times and the landing permit, though we have done it faster.

The fortnight of Christmas and New Year, the Dubai Airshow in November of odd years, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, Dubai World Cup week in March, and the two Eid holidays. On those dates parking at Al Maktoum runs short and Gulf-based aircraft are spoken for early, so we book the return with the outbound.
