Part of the Airbus Corporate Jets family
The ACJ350 is an Airbus A350 widebody built for a private or government owner, chosen when a large party must fly almost any distance non-stop, in rooms rather than rows.
Heads of state, royal households and very large families travelling with staff, security and guests: about 25 people in suites and lounges, or a delegation behind them. The legs are the ones nothing smaller flies with a full cabin, such as London to Sydney or New York to Singapore.
Boeing's 787 BBJ is the nearest rival, and the ACJ330neo does much of the same work with a little less range. An ACJ319neo carries 19 over about fourteen hours; a Global 7500 or G700 takes twelve or so from far more airports, for a fraction of the cost.
Availability, above all: only a few have been delivered, three of them to the German government, and none appears on Airbus's charter listing. It needs about 8,500 ft of runway at full weight and a widebody stand, which rules out most business airports.
Published figures for the type. Seating, beds and connectivity vary with each aircraft's layout and operator, and we confirm them for the actual aircraft before you book.

Range as published: ACJ350-900 with 25 passengers on an NBAA profile, 85% annual winds, 200 nm diversion and 2% airways allowance, ISA; 10,300 nm for the ACJ350-1000. On the day it depends on passengers and luggage, winds, the airports, temperature and the reserves the operator carries.

The -900's cabin is 167 ft 5 in long, 18 ft 5 in wide and 8 ft tall, with 270 m² of floor; the -1000 stretches that to 308 m². Airbus quotes a cabin altitude of 6,000 ft at the maximum flight level, all the air exchanged every two minutes and seven to eight temperature zones. Every layout is the owner's own.
Airbus's concept layouts show a master suite with a king-size bed, guest bedrooms, a dining and conference room and a lounge, with staff and delegation areas aft. Each completion differs.
Airbus quotes range with 25 passengers, the usual size of a private party. Government layouts add a delegation cabin with many more seats.
The concept layouts show two showers; whether an aircraft has one, two or none is the owner's choice.
A 6,000 ft cabin altitude at 43,000 ft, the air changed every two minutes, and optional humidification up to 22% relative humidity.
Airbus offers high-speed satellite internet for video calls and streaming. The fit on a given aircraft depends on its owner, so we confirm it.
Airbus quotes up to 6,074 cu ft of lower-deck volume in the -900, far more than any party needs; how much is free for bags depends on the completion.
Airbus publishes 11,100 nm, more than 22 hours, for the ACJ350-900 with 25 passengers, 85% annual winds, NBAA reserves and a 200 nm diversion; the longer -1000 is published at 10,300 nm. A heavy completion, a large crew and hot departures bring that down, but London to Sydney, about 9,200 nm, is within reach.
The limits are airports: about 8,500 ft of runway at full weight, a stand for a widebody, and slots at hubs such as Heathrow or Haneda.
Trips this aircraft flies well, each with its own page: the airports at both ends, flight times and indicative prices by cabin.
An ACJ350 is quoted per trip, and only when an owner or government releases the aircraft. Fuel, a larger crew and widebody landing, parking and handling fees put it well above a narrowbody ACJ, and positioning can be an ocean crossing of its own. For a party that fits an ACJ319neo or a Boeing Business Jet, those are the better value.
As a guide, VIP airliners charter at about $18,000 to $28,000 an hour for the aircraft, crew and fuel. Positioning, airport charges, overnight costs and the season are added for the trip, and the quote is one figure in writing.
When the ACJ350 is not available on your dates, or the trip asks for something slightly different, these are the aircraft we would put beside it.

Airbus's corporate version of the A350 widebody, derived from the ultra-long-range A350-900ULR, with a cabin completed to the owner's design. It comes in two sizes, the ACJ350-900 and the longer ACJ350-1000, both with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines.
Airbus publishes 11,100 nm, more than 22 hours, for the ACJ350-900 with 25 passengers, NBAA reserves, 85% annual winds and a 200 nm diversion, and 10,300 nm for the -1000. In practice it links almost any two major cities without a stop, subject to load and weather on the day.
Airbus quotes range with 25 passengers, a typical private party with suites for the principals. Government aircraft add a delegation cabin with business-class seats for many more. We send the floor plan of the actual aircraft.
Rarely. Only a few have been delivered, three of them to the German government, and none appears on Airbus's own charter listing. An owner may release one for a specific trip, so we ask on request and put an ACJ330, an ACJ340 or a widebody BBJ alongside it.
The -900's cabin is 167 ft 5 in long, 18 ft 5 in wide and 8 ft high, with 270 m² of floor; the -1000 has 308 m². A Gulfstream G700 cabin is about 57 ft long and 8 ft 2 in wide, so the ACJ350 offers roughly three times the length and more than twice the width.
The -1000 is about 23 ft longer inside, adding 38 m² of floor, and Airbus publishes 10,300 nm for it against 11,100 nm for the -900, both with 25 passengers. The -900 goes further; the -1000 suits the largest delegations.
Any airport that takes an A350: the major hubs and the larger business airports with long runways and widebody stands, such as Stansted, Le Bourget, JFK or Dubai World Central. It needs about 8,500 ft of runway at full weight, and most business-only airports, Teterboro among them, cannot take it.
It is quoted per trip when an aircraft is released, and fuel, crew, positioning and widebody airport fees put it well above a narrowbody ACJ. The indicative VIP airliner band is shown above. Send us the route, dates and party size and we reply with written quotes, payable by bank transfer or in crypto.
