The longest leg we fly regularly

Miami to Dubai is 7,600 miles, at the limit of what any business jet flies non-stop. The Gulfstream G650ER, the Global 7500 and the Global 8000 do it in about fourteen hours. Other cabins stop once, usually at Shannon, Lisbon or the Azores, and land about two hours later. Many clients prefer the stop to stretch and refuel on the ground.

Dubai is eight hours ahead of Miami in winter, so an evening departure from Opa-locka lands the following evening, and a morning departure lands the next morning. Al Maktoum's business-aviation terminal clears immigration in the lounge and is forty minutes from Downtown.

Opa-locka has customs and parking for the largest cabins; widebody VIP airliners fly the route non-stop from Miami International.

What the flight costs

Prices below are indicative one-way figures for the whole aircraft, not per seat. They cover the flight, crew, fuel, permits and any fuel stop; parking in Dubai, repositioning and handling are quoted separately.

A return with the aircraft waiting in Dubai is usually priced well below two one-way flights, and positioning from the Gulf fleets can make the return leg the cheaper direction. We price both and confirm in writing.

Aircraft that fly it non-stop

Non-stop Miami to Dubai needs the longest-range cabins: the Gulfstream G650ER in our fleet, the Global 7500 and the Global 8000. Other ultra-long-range jets fly it with a stop in Europe for a lower price, and heavy jets with two. For the largest parties, a widebody BBJ 787 or ACJ350 flies it non-stop from Miami International; the 737-based BBJs and the ACJ319neo cannot.

When Dubai fills up

Dubai's season runs from November to April, and on these dates the aircraft based in the Gulf are spoken for early. A week or two of notice keeps the choice of cabin open.

  1. December to January Christmas, New Year and the winter season The heaviest fortnight of the year for flights into Dubai. Book the return with the outbound; parking at Al Maktoum runs short.
  2. November Dubai Airshow and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix The Airshow in odd years fills Al Maktoum's ramp; the Grand Prix weekend pulls aircraft to Abu Dhabi and Dubai together.
  3. March Dubai World Cup Race week at Meydan brings the racing world in on private aircraft. Slots at Dubai International tighten first.
  4. April Art Dubai and the end of season Collectors and galleries arrive in the same week; a quieter time for the airports than the winter peak.
  5. Eid holidays Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha Dates move each year. Regional traffic surges in both directions and Gulf-based aircraft are hard to source.
  6. October GITEX and the start of the season The first busy week after summer. Corporate demand peaks mid-week.

Dubai to Miami

The return leaves from Al Maktoum, Dubai International or Sharjah and lands at Opa-locka, Miami International or Fort Lauderdale. Westbound into the headwind allow about fifteen hours non-stop, or seventeen with a stop; a morning departure from Dubai lands in Miami mid-afternoon the same day.

In winter and during the Airshow, Dubai's departure slots and parking are scarce. During Art Basel, Opa-locka is fully booked. We secure both ends when we book the outbound.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private jet from Miami to Dubai cost?

Indicative one-way prices for the whole aircraft start at about $175,000 in a ultra-long-range jet, with a stop; about $210,000 in a ultra-long-range jet, non-stop; about $320,000 in a vip airliner. Repositioning, overnight parking and handling are quoted separately once we know your dates, and a return with the aircraft waiting is usually priced well below two one-way flights.

How long is the flight?

About 14 hours from boarding to landing for the cabins shown on this page, depending on the aircraft, the winds and the airports at each end. Every cabin class listed flies it without a stop.

Which airports can I use?

From Miami: Miami-Opa locka Executive, Miami International and Fort Lauderdale. Into Dubai: Al Maktoum International, Dubai International and Sharjah International. Each is described above with its drive time and the operators that handle private flights there.

How do immigration and customs work on arrival?

Passport control and customs are cleared inside the private terminal in a few minutes. UK, EU and US passport holders receive a visa on arrival; for other nationalities we confirm the requirement when we book.

Can my dog travel with me?

Pets travel in the cabin. The UAE requires an import permit, microchip, vaccination record and health certificate in advance; we arrange the paperwork with the handler. Allow a week or two for the permit.

Can I pay for the charter with crypto?

Yes. Bank transfer in any major currency; crypto also accepted. Tell us your preferred coin and we confirm the network and payment instructions with the contract.

Do you arrange the car at each end?

Yes. We coordinate chauffeured cars on both ends, so a car meets you at the aircraft in Dubai and the driver knows the airport's private terminal.

Where would you like to fly?

Tell us what you have in mind. Our team will take care of the charter arrangements and discuss crypto payment if you prefer.
