Opa-locka is the default, open around the clock with three handling agents and customs on the field. Miami International is closer still to Brickell and the only Miami runway for a VIP airliner; Fort Lauderdale is the choice for Boca Raton and the northern coast. We choose the airport around where you are staying and the aircraft around the party, then hold the slot on the winter weeks that fill the city.

Pets travel in the cabin. Entering the US, a dog needs a microchip, a CDC import form and a rabies vaccination record from most countries; we arrange the paperwork with the handler.

From the East Coast, usually yes: a light jet from New York, Washington or Atlanta can often depart within a few hours, and aircraft are based at Opa-locka for the return. From London or Paris, twenty-four hours is the realistic minimum because of crew duty times and customs notice, though we have done it faster.
