Love Field is the default, ten minutes from Uptown and Highland Park with three handling agents, customs on the field and no curfew. Addison is closer for Plano, Frisco and the corporate campuses of the north; DFW takes VIP airliners and most international arrivals. We choose the airport around the meeting or the house and the aircraft around the party, then hold Love Field parking on the game weekends that fill the ramp.

From Texas and the South, usually yes: a light jet from Austin, Houston or Oklahoma City can often depart within the hour, and Love Field and Addison have aircraft based on the field for the return. From the coasts a same-day midsize jet is realistic before lunch; from London, twenty-four hours is the minimum because of crew duty times and customs notice.

On those dates Love Field's parking goes first, so we book the slot with the flight and hold Addison or DFW as the fallback.
