Nassau's Lynden Pindling is the gateway, open around the clock with two private terminals, customs on arrival and US preclearance for the return, fifteen minutes from Paradise Island and twenty from Lyford Cay and Albany. Exuma International takes midsize jets into Great Exuma and the Exuma Cays, and North Eleuthera puts Harbour Island ten minutes away by water taxi. Smaller strips on the private islands and the out islands take turboprops and light jets in daylight, so the aircraft is chosen around the runway as much as the party.

The Bahamas season runs from November to April, with the holidays and the American school breaks the busiest weeks.
Passport details go to the handler before you land, the car or the boat is at the private terminal, and the villa, the yacht and the fishing guide are arranged in the same conversation as the flight.
Customs and immigration are cleared on arrival at the FBO. Most nationalities enter visa-free for up to ninety days. Returning to the US from Nassau, you clear US preclearance before departure and land as a domestic flight.
Pets travel in the cabin. The Bahamas requires an import permit applied for in advance, a veterinary health certificate and rabies vaccination; we arrange the permit with the handler.
A chauffeured car meets the aircraft on the ramp at Lynden Pindling, Nassau or whichever airport you land at, and the driver knows the private terminal, not the commercial one.

Repositioning, overnight parking and handling are quoted separately once we know your dates.

From Florida, usually yes: a light jet from Miami or Palm Beach can often depart within a few hours, and from New York or Washington the same day is realistic. From London, twenty-four hours is the realistic minimum because of crew duty times and customs notice, though we have done it faster.

Christmas and New Year, when Nassau parking and out-island slots are booked a month ahead; Presidents' Day weekend in February; the three weeks of spring break in March; and Easter. On those dates we book the parking with the flight and hold Exuma or Nassau as the alternative to the busiest strip.
