The one specification Rolex cannot repeat twice.
The dial is a cut and etched slice of an iron meteorite. The crosshatch figure in it — the Widmanstätten pattern — forms over millions of years as the iron-nickel core of an asteroid cools, and it cannot be reproduced. Rolex cuts the slices, etches them to bring the pattern up, and fits them like any other dial, which means every meteorite Daytona has a dial nobody else has.
This one is Everose, Rolex's own rose gold alloy, with a platinum content that is there to keep the pink from fading over time. Against the grey of the meteorite it reads warmer than yellow gold does, and the contrast is the reason this pairing is asked for more than the white gold version.

Is every meteorite dial different?
Yes. The crystalline figure is a property of the meteorite it was cut from, so each slice is unique and no two dials match. It is the one thing about the watch that cannot be specified exactly, only chosen.
What is Everose?
Rolex's own 18 ct rose gold alloy, cast in-house. It includes a small amount of platinum, which is there to stop the copper in the alloy leaching out and the pink fading, as it can on other rose golds.
Can you send photographs of the actual dial?
Yes, and on this reference we insist on it. The dial is the watch, so we photograph the individual piece rather than relying on a catalogue image.
How long does it take to source one?
It depends on the configuration and how specific the brief is. We tell you what is realistic at the start rather than quote a number we cannot keep.
Can I pay in crypto?
Yes. Bank transfer in any major currency, or crypto; Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum, USDT and other major coins and stablecoins are accepted. The coin, network and amount are confirmed with you before any transfer.
