The white dial in steel, and why it is the hardest one to walk in and buy.
The 126500LN is the steel Cosmograph Daytona introduced in 2023: calibre 4131, a black Cerachrom bezel, and a slightly reworked case with the bezel edge drawn out over the lugs. It is offered with a white dial and black counters or a black dial with white ones. The white one is what most people mean when they say “panda”, and it is the single reference we are asked for most often.
It replaced the 116500LN, which ran from 2016 to 2023 on calibre 4130 and made the same dial pairing famous. The two look close at arm's length and quite different at the wrist. If it does not matter to you which generation you end up with, say so, because it widens what we can find and usually shortens the wait.

What is the difference between the 126500LN and the 116500LN?
The 116500LN ran from 2016 to 2023 on calibre 4130. The 126500LN replaced it in 2023 with calibre 4131 and a lightly redrawn case, with the bezel edge carried further over the lugs. Both are Oystersteel with a black Cerachrom bezel and the same two dial choices.
