The island's airport, Gustaf III (SBH), has a runway of 646 metres, according to the French aeronautical information publication. That is far too short for a long-range jet, so the journey comes in two legs: the jet to a gateway island nearby, then a short connection to St Barts.
Princess Juliana airport on St Maarten (SXM) is one example. Its 2,300-metre runway takes long-range jets, and it lies about 30 km from St Barts. Whether it suits your trip depends on the aircraft, where you fly from, the dates and the operators' arrangements.
The last leg is flown in a small aircraft cleared for the airport, or made by sea. The routing, the aircraft for each leg, the timings and the luggage allowance are confirmed by the operators and set out in the written proposal, before you approve anything.

We don't publish villas here. Availability and rates change from week to week, so the houses we propose are the ones free for your dates, each with its description and terms.
Yacht charter in St Barts: a day or longer
A day charter is a few hours on the water, out from the island and back the same day. A longer charter means nights on board and a route planned over several days.
Tell us the party size, how long you would like, the style of boat and the budget. The written proposal names the vessel, where you board, what is included and what happens if the weather turns.
The captain has the final word on where the yacht goes, depending on the sea and the weather, so no anchorage is promised in advance.

As early as you can if your dates are fixed, and earlier still for peak weeks such as Christmas and New Year, when villas, yachts and flights are most in demand. Later requests are still worth sending; what is available is confirmed when we reply.
Are you based on St Barts?
No. We have no office or team on the island, and we own no aircraft, villas or yachts. We coordinate the trip and arrange each part through the operators, owners and charter companies that provide it, and the proposal names who provides what.
